Hello from Ridge Haven!
There is a growing sense of excitement here at Ridge Haven as we head into this season of preparation and anticipation for the rapidly approaching summer. Preparations for the summer are in full swing, with our team working diligently to get everything ready for the months ahead. However, we are still amidst a busy Spring serving multiple groups each week and currently hosting the Committee on Discipleship Ministries Lead Conference event. We're also thrilled to see the construction of several new camper cabins nearing completion - an answer to prayer and meaningful step towards serving even more guests.
GOD'S FAITHFULNESS TO THE NEXT GENERATION
The Unfinished Calling is a sermon series preached by Reverend Joe Novenson at Ridge Haven in the fall of 2023 at our annual Keenagers Adult Conference. In these messages, he addressed the enduring responsibility --and high privilege--we have to invest in the next generation of Christ's Church. As these sermons were delivered, we quickly sensed that this teaching beautifully articulated the vision that we strive for here at Ridge Haven. Please listen to them as you are able as we trust this will be an immense encouragement to all believers. Also, in participation with the Committee on Discipleship Ministries, we are also developing a written copy for individual and small group study. Share this link with those in your life who could benefit from it and be on the lookout for hard copies to be released in June.

Staff have been hard at work with nearly 500 guests on campus throughout the last month and nearly 50 groups already this year between our Brevard and Cono locations. We had the privilege of hosting UGA RUF in February for there annual retreat to Ridge Haven! This year they had nearly 160 students attend the retreat. It is always such an encouragement to see so many young adults on fire for the Lord and seeking community with fellow believers!
On Our Cono Campus, the Lord's faithfulness remains abundantly evident as we approach the end of yet another school year. With a working greenhouse, the science lab is blossoming into life with the much-anticipated spring. As we reflect on the literary adventures of this year that cover the walls and ceiling of the school, it is hard to believe in such a short time we have fought in the Trojan War, sailed to Ithaca with Odysseus, experienced the tragedy of the Roman Senate through the eyes of Brutus and Caesar and will end our journey dreaming though a Mid Summer's Night. While we will be sad to pause our academics soon, we are very excited to perform Peter Pan Jr. on April 25th for our end of the year production. Without the help of all of the fantastic parents giving up their time and talent's, our production would not be possible. Thank you again for your commitment to the ministry taking place here.
2026 SUMMER CAMP
Registration is still open for our 2026 camp season! Please continue to join us in praying for our campers as they register that the Lord would prepare their hearts for what He has in store for them while at Ridge Haven. If you are interested in joining us and have not yet registered take a look at what we have to offer for the entire family! Many of our weeks are currently waitlisted, however we recently opened up additional space for Junior, Junior High and Senior High cabins for July 27 - August 3. Be sure to grab your camper's spot before they fill up!
A big part of what makes Ridge Haven Camps so memorable for summer campers and guests alike is the godly and dedicated summer staff members serving them. We are so encouraged at the group of people that the Lord provided for our staff this summer! Please pray that the Lord would equip our entire staff with everything we need to love and serve the campers and guests all summer. We are excited to share the opportunity to partner specifically with an individual summer staff member by committing to pray for them by name throughout the summer. Knowing that they are covered in prayer is a huge encouragement to our staff and reveals the Lord’s power through the way he answers prayers. - Pray for our summer staff as they prepare to serve in the months ahead. Ask that God would equip and encourage them, and work powerfully through them in the lives of campers and guests! - Pray for the campers who will join us on campus this summer, that the Lord would begin preparing their hearts even now and ready them for the growth He has in store during their time at Ridge Haven - Pray for the ongoing construction around campus, that it would be completed efficiently and on schedule before the summer season begins. - Pray for the full-time staff and inters as they prepare campus for summer and faithfully finish out this busy retreat season.
- Pray that the Lord would continue to use Ridge Haven as a place where He is made known and where His Kingdom is grown.
