Storm spares Cono - note from Wallace The Derecho storm that came through Iowa has left almost everyone in Cedar Rapids without power… much of the city is shut down. It came within a few miles of Cono…many farms lost their crops on the other side of Walker. We have power. The Casey’s in Walker has shut down as they ran out of food and gas etc. and we are being told that you cannot get food as far away as Independence and people are going to Waterloo for supplies and gas. We currently have four families who need us – one is with us as their whole roof was torn off. We are reaching out to others. Please pray for this whole area.
