Remembering and pushing forward |

Reunion is the recalling of the intersection of our lives, and this one poignantly remembering paths through Cono. A time of memories, meaning and rising to the challenges of the future. Steve and Mary Kaufmann led devotions by pointing to Psalm 148, and how all things praise the Lord. We 60 Conoites met at the Dan and Liz Gardner farm. See who you recognize here. |

What a blessing after all the years to be able to join together in fellowship, songs and harmony.
Music has always been a big part of Cono and still is today. We thank God for his mercy and pray for Cono to continue to grow and lead young people to Him.
The reunion was a lovely, lovely time. I was able to see old friends and get to know other former Cono “kids” who I didn’t know as a teenager. We all shared such a unique experience, being part of a boarding school. It’s difficult to explain to folks who ONLY attended a high school in their own city during the daytime.
There are some Cono spouses who should be voted honorary Cono kids…they have attended so many Cono events and they share our sense of humor and love for music; they get my vote!
Thank you to Liz and Dan who allowed us into their home. Thank you to Andrew and MaryAnna for all their work. Thank you to Rachael for baking so many treats. Thank you to Jerry and Helen who brought yummy cupcakes. Thank you to Steve and Mary for their wise words based in the Psalms. Thank you to KarlaKay for managing money. No doubt I’m missing someone and his or her contribution but just know you made it a great weekend.
